Challenges - Requirements weren’t properly coming through at initial stage and stakeholders were pushing for on time delivery. Coming up with sleek design for kiosk was difficult as the components were bulky.
Key Contributions - Going by the scale of the project, We used Agile project delivery technique. Carefully planned the product backlogs, sprints to ensure that the most important components were delivered at the very beginning of the project.
Since it was an on-premise set-up, the client interaction and proper communication plan was critical for the success of the project. We had set-up a steering committee of client's cross-functional teams and brainstormed with them for obtaining precise requirements. Managed team based remotely & locally onsite. Delivered best in class UI designs, sleek & compact kiosk model as per client’s branding guidelines.
Stream lined the coordination with kiosk vendor, component suppliers to ensure the actual product is inline to the committed solution.
Impact - All the Public services of Dubai Police are digitized. DP launched - Smart Police Station.
