Challenges – Handled the project from the middle. Project wasn’t scoped properly. There were multiple scope changes as their backend APIs weren’t responding on many occasions. Client was too demanding in terms of testing and deliverables. Client wasn’t signing off the project unless moved to production and tested again on production environment.
Key Contributions – Coordinated with 3rd party remote development team for project delivery. Enabled the change control policy, Implemented change request management.
Treated all the change requests coming through separately to log the delays and its subsequent costs incurring during the project. Charged client for change requests at times when the deliverables were moving completely away from the project scope.
By building a healthy relationship and after multiple negotiations, we got the client sign-off for the project thereby got the pending payments released.
Impact – All the payments for public prosecution are being processed only through the kiosk terminal, thereby more commission being received through the kiosks.
